CIEN - Jon, you rascal! How is it that you write NOv. 30th CIEN
33 calls, it falls from $35 to less than $31, and now it's about
$32.60, which likely means you'll reap the premium and can option
it out again. (I may have some of the specifics wrong, but the idea
has always been there - the options on this stock come in
*perfectly*, so you can write calls earnings after earnings, pocket
premiums, and never have the stock called away.) The options Gods
just love you. :-)

I had the Nov 23 options (Sold 10 CIEN Nov 23 2018 34.0
Call @ 0.86) so I already pocketed the $860. Looking at
the 34's for Dec 14 right now for >$1. :)
the thing is, I expect it to be >$34 after earnings. They
have had consitently good earnings for the most part.

Ok, just bought 1k at 32.39 and sold calls: Sold 10
CIEN Dec 14 2018 34.0 Call @ 0.85
If i get stuck with shares that is ok as I believe in
prospects, but if it gets called (which I am hoping), I make a bit
over 7.5% in 2 weeks.
