OT - INFN
Apparently (can't copy and paste) INFN's recent CC as well as
other players in the sector raised concerns that business is very
'soft'. I 'get' it - lt - you're looking over the longer term - at
least a couple quarters, I'd think, and betting that the new
equipment may not be boffo, but not all that far from it. Still,
why take today to crash and burn. Can't find a specific story.
It would've been wise to write some $25 calls on CIEN a couple
of days ago. That, also has gone south. Damn.

Yes, in the CC Fallon was asked what the chances of guidance
being too optimistic for this quarter were, and I think he answered
something to the effect that he could not see how it could be
lower. While anything can happen in the short term given the
softness in the sector, I am convinced the CapEx spending will pick
up in the second half. The new products are top notch and
will be received well by the service providers around the
globe.
