lt cap,
(It just erased a long message) Short story: Thanks for posting
the INFN rationale - appreciated. I agree except that I don't trust
management to know how their business is going - and that's inspite
that business is so difficult to pin down in this sector, given
that if one customer does or doesn't buy equipment, it can rise or
crash a stock.
Clearly, the blow-down across the sector reflects, I'd think,
concerns that things aren't stable and positive. If one accepts the
'buy' premise, today's blowdown of 4%+ is a real buying opp. Unless
there's some INFN specific quite bad news. Can't find that yet -
from Barrons it appears that it's other players disappointing.
Could only copy this from Barrons:

I'm quite leaning towards picking up 1k shares - except that I
can't find a/the reason for the blow-down, and I am skeptical of
mgmt's ability to reassure analyts about rough quarters, rather
than sounding like they're panicing. (I did post in a prior
CC that they sounded (quality of their voices), from the first
minute, like they were 'running scared', and they we're - I think
that was one of the very large blow downs of the stock.
Okay, back to trying to get myself to pull a trigger
perhaps.
