I'm surprised that the market is shrugging off Trump's
increasingly unhinged behavior. On Saturday he tweeted shocking
allegations against Obama with zero evidence, then tweeted about
reality TV, then played golf. Days later, still zero evidence.
Yesterday he claimed Obama released 122 from Gitmo who are back in
the battlefield, which was also false. The Govt data the number
comes from says 113 of those were released by Bush. There are a few
issues here:
1. The constant lying, and ironically coming mere days after
fooling people yet again that he was becoming "presidential".
2. Attacking a former POTUS with no proof, and worse apparently
coming from peddling some far right guys conspiracy theory, makes
you wonder who will he attack next without provocation.
3. Yesterday's tweets strongly suggest he was watching Fox cable
news for two hours straight. Shouldn't the President have all the
information, instead of getting it from Fox News and conspiracy
theorists?
The new healthcare proposal looks like a dud too. Its only
winners are insurance executives and the wealthy, everyone else is
likely worse off. One Republican did helpfully suggest people could
do without their iPhone to pay for healthcare. LOL, as if it will
be that cheap. They didn't even wait for CBO's assessment before
releasing it. I guess budgets suddenly don't matter any more to the
GOP? I thought that was their big thing.
