OT - INFN
I did buy 500 sh. of INFN @$17.58. My real intent, I decided was
to buy 1k, but let's see just how low this might go. I have not
written covered calls. If the market doesn't get 'flooded out' and
lose another couple of hundred points today, and the sun comes up
tomorrow, a rebound/relief rally might bring even better covered
call prices. Worst case, I own more INFN. Fallon doesn't lie -
doesn't mean a guaranteed good CC in late Jan., but his bullishness
may be 'bettable'.
The real question is where one would buy NOK if one wanted to
increase the position. Up 2% today. Rats.

I am really surprised NOK and ALU are holding up so welll amid a
painful selloff in the genral markets. True, it has a lot of
fundamental potential in the next 24 months and because of all the
potential catalyts it also is IMO undervalued, a stark difference
from an otherwise pricey market. However, I am always well aware
that no stock is an island.
That said, if the market continues to sell off heavily, it will
continue to chip away at the strongly positive near term sentiment
toward NOK. OTOH, the technicals on both NOK and ALU are very
bullish, this has had the effect to keep them from losing too much
in the past month or so.
