OT - MSFT

OT MSFT - I often make mistakes about prognostications, but my record on MSFT has been quite on target: Windows 10 stumbling right out of the gate. ZDnet reported yesterday that win 10's first official cumulative update sends some users into an endless 'crash loop', due in large part to the fact that you can't disable updates, as they are automatic and basically cramed down user's throats now. Not clear on how many users are affected. But the stats given: (from memory, forgive me inaccuracies) 61% of computers are still running Win7. Win8 has about 13% share. MSFT is the only significant OS that charges customers for OS upgrades. But I don't think that has anything to do with folks clinging to old MSFT OS's as long as feasible, and sometimes past that (the majority of 'professional' offices I visit are running XP, regardless of intrusion vulnerability.) Nadella has his work cut out for him.
