OT - CIEN - a major brokerage downgraded CIEN to 'neutral' from outperform. Hasn't had a big effect on a the stock.   Decided to pick up some more Abbott Labs (ABT) based both on prospects and current momentum, and increased a modest stake in ISRG by 50%. Yes, they're near all time high, but I don't see competition in their main area of prostate surgery and I believe they will be trying to expand their surgical devices portfolio. I will look to buy more if we get a dip.

I know most folks here don't have much love for the Fed. But listening to Powell's press conference today, I think he's the only Trump nominee who sounds like he knows what he's doing. Well spoken, clear communicator. Certainly an improvement over 'Syellin'.
