OT - INFN INTC
OT - from memory, so don't flame me: Morgan Stanley re-instated
INFN to their outperform list. Raymond James downgraded INTC to
underperform, joining the party of analysts who hate the stock, see
long term growing headwinds. Uhg. I've not changed my position, but
I'm cogitating on it. AMDis everyone's darling. At least James, in
a statement bearich on semis, placed Nvidia at outperform. I've
been thinking about taking money out of ROBO - an ETF of supposedly
AI companies, which has lost 5-10% while I've owned it, and
re-deploying it into NVDA and ISRG (Intuitive Surgical), both of
which have been big winners. I also bought some Abbott Labs (ABT)
yesterday, on the news that a study showed thier mitral valve clip,
which cures mitral valve prolalpse, among other things, was hailed
by cardiologists as a huge, game-changing success. At $30k a pop,
they ought to be selling a lot of those, with no competition
in sight. Their heart pump study didn't do as well as Abiogen's,
but analysts that were already bullish on ABT raised their PTs.
Speaking of which MOrgan Stanley's PT on INFN was $9.50.
