OT - The Good
News
OT - Well, of course I'm curious to hear what other folks think
of the market meltdown - temporary hiccup or the beginning of the
end. I foolishly (in retrospect) put more funds into ISRG and ABT,
but it still has me wondering whether to buy more once there's some
sign of market stabilization, as I think that they, along with
NVDA, will do well, even though the PE's are somewhat
exorbitant.
The good news is - Intel put out a study that by 2028, revenues
from 5G entertainment will reach 1.3 trillion. And if that were
accurate, you've got to have the infrastructure to handle the
traffic. I will likely get some CIEN put to me on Friday, but I'm
in it for the long haul, as is the case with all 5g plays at the
moment.

The market meltdown has been scarily fast. It looked like bulls
were trying re-assert themselves today, until the last hour.
Hopefully tomorrow.

Jester,
With NVDA and ISRG at these levels, I'm tempted to add to the
positions. Maybe ABT is a candidate, too, but healthcare has held
up relatively well so far. One could easily be scared off from NVDA
and ISRG, given how much they've appreciated the past 2 years, and
tech with large PE's are probably the last thing a broker would
suggest buying. I've kept the rest of my powder dry. I'd hope to
see some moderation tomorrow, but with the market this skittish, I
do wonder whether people want to be holding something over the
weekend.
