options/earnings
Looking at the May 11 options for INFN. Earnings are
supposed to be May 9. Some decent premiums if you don't mind
losing the shares. I'd sell some today for 12+ so looks like I
might sell to open some calls at 11.5 or 12 strike.

Jon,
I see your point. The premiums at stk 11.50 and 12 for May 11th
are double or more than what they are for May 4th. All strikes
after May 11th have very very puny higher increments in the
premiums. Yeah, May 11th is the place to be, premium-and-percentage
wise. Thanks for pointing that out.
But......the flummoxing thing is that particularly in this
sector, when CC's have been either good or bad, we're seeing 15%
fluctuations (I think INFN got crushed by 25% one time,
IIRC.) So, on INFN, are the premiums telling you that the
bets are to the upside? I think lt. cap. said they ought to have
good products that were fairly unique in their abilities - is this
the quarter where they should've been shipping them? Or do i have
that wrong?
