OT - INFN
earnings
INFN beat by a penny, losing .12 cents instead of .13 loss of
expectations. And, I think, beat on revs. Comparative margins to a
year ago don't look so good, if I'm reading that right. So much for
Zack's 0% chance of a beat - I'm mystified why they're a source of
info that subscribers pay for.
Trading slightly up AH. I think it will come down to what Fallon
says about guidance.

It did beat on both top and bottom line. I believe they
have passed the worst of th drout. This still is a
challenging year because of consolidation among service providers,
so the will continue to feel pressure from their customers to lower
prices. But the very worst is behind them.
Now they need to execute on sales and on cost controls, have to
be laser focused.

INFN doing quite well AH. Stock was totally oversold back
in late Dec. This year should be the opposite of the past 18
months

Lt cap,
Yes, surprised to see just how well INFN did AH. If there is
follow-thru in tomorrow's regular session, hopefully it might pull
CIEN and NOK along with it. And perhaps, also hopefully, as 2018
progresses, there might be a rotation into the networking
stocks. Hard to see how much more out of rotation it might be. But
then, I do recall CIEN languishing in the teens about a year or so
ago. And yes, all these companies need to stay 'laser-focused', or
suffer the consequences.
