INFN announced a win in
Germany
Selling its Cloud Xpress 2 to Core-Backbone in Germany (a Cloud
Provider). Good to see the new product being deployed.
As I said, the inflection point in sales should start
happening late third quarter and beyond.

OT - NOK and company. If I've got it right, 'rotation' occurs
from profit taking in the tech sector, and put money into banks,
now that all regulation has been removed and more mergers signaling
consolidation. What I don't 'get' (and I don't have to) is if some
stocks in the tech sector have reasonable valuations, good
fundamentals, and a future that looks like growth no matter what,
why would people run away so fast? I've not seen NOK get this
crushed in one day in a fair while. And I get it that part of that
'rotation' is that the market for some time has been a trading
stock zoo, rather than investments ruling the roost. And
predictions looking down the road aren't as attractive as the
short term hold, I guess.
Still, the slaughter of NOK, INFN, CIEN was kind of jaw dropping
to me. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater, and the tub thrown
out also for good measure seems excessive. Not to mention it being
child abuse.
And why shouldn't it continue? Too many instances of a sector
being hated when fundamentals are sharp - we could still go a long
ways down,Ithink. Although 'bargain hunters' might provide
support. Especially if they're the same people who cashed out
in this tech slide, and now are going to cash back in. Crazy.

The volatility is huge. The good future prospects have not
dimmed in my opinion. Ty[ical market to throw the baby out
with the bath water.

Even though a pull back in the general markets would postpone
gains in both INFN and NOK, it would be a healthy thing to have.
I think a 8% to 10% would be good. I have 100 BABA
shares and would not mind adding a little. My work 401K
remains mostly in the guaranteed fund, I would like to move it into
the market, but have been relectant to do so because of the high
valuations, so a 10% pull back would be welcome. I would be
deploying it to the International, big cap growth, mid cap growth
and small cap growth.
