WAY Ot - Hilary and CEO
pay

Capital Group, which is a mutual fund management giant
with $1.4 Trillion (that's what they said) under mgmt. has been
known to be critical of the magnitude of fund manager's
compensation. They reported that they supported 'sayon pay'
requests of their own managers only 86% of the time, whereas of the
industry of top (500?) companies, the boards supported 'say on pay'
measures 96% of the time. While those measures then go to
shareholders for a vote (anybody read those mini-tomes you get
every quarter?), imagine if you already had a fairly obscene
salary, and if you asked your boss for another one, there was only
a 4% change they would not support it? Cha-ching.

And try as I might, I'm not 'with' Hilary. When she's not
lying about good jobs for the middle class and how she's going to
bring back jobs from overseas, she's 'calling out' CEOs whose
salary is way out of proportion to what they pay workers. (I
recently saw that the average salary of CEOs of the top (500? 100?)
S and P companies was $14.3 mln.) Hilary earned 28 mln. last year.
I know all politicians have to be hypocrits for one reason or
another. But this is beyond the pale. No wonder she has such high
negative ratings - a lying weasel. I wish Bernie just started
calling her "The Great Satan.", following Bohner's
example.

And I would *love* to read the
transcripts of the Goldman speeches Goldman paid her $675,000 for
which she refuses to release. She's not dumb. Her answer as
to why she accepted a per-hour speech compensation of $225k -
"because that's what they were offering" looks so dumb because she
doesn't have a better one. (I have wondered if someone answered
that way when asked to explain the huge amount they took as a
bribe, how long it would take to tar and feather them?) I highly
suspect that, if released, it would look a lot like the 'secret
recording' of Romney shamelessly wooing high dollar donors by
talking about 47% of the people being leeches off the government.
Or maybe it'd just be her 'Lassie' imitation ("roll over girl
- there's a good doggie.') End of rant.
