ERTS earnings
Street is not being kind to those who disappoint - ERTS down 8%.
Wonder if ATVI will fall in sympathy. Wonder if analysts will now
call ERTS 'oversold'

I was up early to buy EA pre-market at $65 and sell at $66.6 a
few minutes after market open. Like most or all EA calls I can
remember for a long time, this dip will probably be bought. They
beat and raised on both revenue and earnings, maybe not as much as
Wall St had projected though. And this year should have solid
growth with a multi-plat Titanfall, new Mass Effect, and a
Battlefield game for the holidays, plus organic growth in sports
with the install base. With this FY being over $3, next FY should
be higher, so low $60's prices will probably continue to see
support.

In other news yesterday, GameStop is publishing an Insomniac
Games (Ratchet series) metroidvania game for PS4, XB1, PC. It's
just a $15 game, and will have a digital and disc release
(exclusive to GameStop I wonder?), so it's interesting to see them
getting more involved in game making and publishing. Of course, it
might have helped if they hadn't blown all their cash flow in
recent years propping up the share price with buybacks and
dividends, since they'd now have a big war chest to make
acquisitions etc. if they had.
