Anyone here pre-ordering the Oculust Rift?

$599? Hell, no. I don't game on PC anyway, but I also have
little to no interest in VR. I think it will be incrementally
positive for publishers starting this year, and a potentially good
revenue boost for GameStop. With that plus Sony's device, and
Valve's, that's a lot of expensive hardware selling to the niche
and the hardcore that wasn't there last year.

'23 year-old dude' made me lol. You want 'cheap' - how about
Google's $20 cardboard VR? I think they ought to follow the
xbox 'model' and sell it at under cost, subsidize it from
profitable company operations, use the time to build user loyalty,
bring down mfg. costs, and refine the usability.
