Anyone here pre-ordering the Oculust Rift?

Anyone here pre-ordering the Oculust Rift?

$599? Hell, no. I don't game on PC anyway, but I also have little to no interest in VR. I think it will be incrementally positive for publishers starting this year, and a potentially good revenue boost for GameStop. With that plus Sony's device, and Valve's, that's a lot of expensive hardware selling to the niche and the hardcore that wasn't there last year.

lt cap,

'23 year-old dude' made me lol. You want 'cheap' - how about Google's $20 cardboard VR?  I think they ought to follow the xbox 'model' and sell it at under cost, subsidize it from profitable company operations, use the time to build user loyalty, bring down mfg. costs, and refine the usability.
