Yeah! I reduced the cash in the guaranteed fund of my 401K by 10% and moved it into equity funds this A.M.  The sites was crawling, took me a long time to do what is typically can be done very quickly.  

There is a real sense pf panick out there, which told me it is time to start increasing my 401K exposure to equities.  I will continue to increase the exposure on further weakness; I still feel that in the mid Sept through October (earnings time) we will see the final leg down.

Apparently my trade did go through, but was not reported until 11am. weird.

Apparently Vanguard's site also had issues:

" Investors were purportedly so eager to check their holdings that the website for investment firm Vanguard temporarily crashed"
