Publishers on
sale
EA down to an 18-month low just under $100, down from $151 in 3
months. I know I mentioned the negatives against them, but it's
surely on sale now. NPD came out last night and reported FIFA 19 is
ahead of both FIFA 18 and 17. Overall, NPD said total VG spending
was up and software sales were flat from last year, but they don't
track all digital sales so they must be up. Recent games have been
setting records. Fortnite while still strong, is fading. The fall
in the publishers seems like an over-reaction.
TTWO is at a 6-month low and bounced yesterday off the 50ma. Red
Dead 2 should do extremely well. The only concern there is a
sell-the-news like happened with ATVI.
Speaking of them, down 18% from August highs, yet CoD is doing
very well. Despite no campaign, sales were in line with last years
CoD and this years launched earlier, so over the entire holiday
season it should end up ahead.
