OT - CIEN - yes, the old CIEN CC Three Card Monte is around the corner.  Rumored report date is 8/30, and the calls confirm this, as there is the usual large bump up from the Aug 24 calls to the Aug 31st calls. The extant problem is that CIEN was crusing along at $27.50 about a month ago, and it's been slammed down to about $25.50.  Do I want to buy more shares and option them out, with the chance of being stuck with them?  The last couple reports from sector players might discourage that thought.  But CIEN has come in with decent results the last several quarters.
