I have read stories about technologies that are in the TB/s range, but implementation on a useful scale is problematic. We shall see. In the meantime, I am 1-2 months away from 1GB/s internet - our neighborhood is currently being updated. My friend has it and says he gets ~800Mb download and 333MB upload speeds. I will take that vs. my current 20MB and 1MB!
