It affects the Data Center Interconnect boxes (DCI), INFN participates in it, as well as other vendors.  It affects Data centers connected at less than 81kms in distance.  This is gotta be the reason behind the drop, cannot, probably analysts have chimed in on it.  If anyone else finds anything more probable, please post.  The DCI box is still a relatively new product, so this cuts into future growth as the box may be rendered obsolete.
