I just took a look at the volume across 45 stocks I watch (across several segments) and they are pitiful!  Just a few stocks have volume approaching their respective 90 day average volume, this rally has been on vapor, there seems to be no real conviction behind it.  I am still of the belief the market heads lower when earnings start in a few weeks, and if there are earnings warnings before then, lower we go earlier.
