Yes, this is all very unfortunate. Not only are those shares currently in limbo, it's also a taxable event, and by the sounds of it we don't even know if it's a 2015 or 2016 event! If I had known it would be this confusing at the start (I just assumed it would be a straight conversion, and keep the short term or long term status of the shares), I'd have probably sold at $4 then purchased NOK myself when I deemed it a good time. Oh well, always learning!
