Re Jobs: The divide is not exclusive to the one percent, it is
the most obvious and it is enormous of course. Those with
high demand and high wage skills are also benefiting and moving up
and away from the rest in the USA. This group of workers is
highly mobile; they are able to quit jobs to go where pay or
benefits or both are better. Over one million jobs go
unfilled because they require a high level of skills, there is no
lack of high end jobs.
The one percent gets all the headlines, but in truth, the divide
starts with the upper middle class, everyone else is being left
behind.
