The studio GM in charge of BF Hardline has suddenly left, presumed fired. 15 year veteran of EA. That's not exactly a vote of confidence. By tomorrow, the game will have spent more time at $39.99 than $59.99.

"We are thankful for Steve's many contributions to EA and wish him the best," the publisher said in a statement to Eurogamer. "The Visceral team continues to be focused on new game content for Battlefield Hardline including expansion packs, as well as new development projects."
